Description

When I close the C5 gui via the menu or the "x" button I get

*************************
*** IMMINENT DISASTER ***
*************************

>>> CoCoA::GlobalManager being destroyed while CoCoA objects still live! <<<

This does not happen when I type ciao;. I think exiting the gui should do the same.

  • Target version set to CoCoA-5.?.?

This is a known bug. We had looked for it ages ago (obviously without success).

The bug appears to be "minor" in that its only bad effect is to produce an embarassing error message during termination; we don't believe that it can cause erroneous computation. As we are not even sure what future the GUI will have, I have marked this as low priority.

This is apparently a duplicate of #611, so I shall close this issue.
