Description

Ulrich reports by email that the test test-SparsePolyRing2 has become significantly slower; also perhaps test-SparsePolyRing1

He did not check other tests.
We should keep track of the resources a test needs, so that we can investigate if one or more suddenly become slower.

I think the slow down may be due to a change in code in radical (of ideals)" I believe we now speculatively try to compute the radical of each generator... this may be costly if the GCD is computed by a GB computation. Just my guess.
