Description

How stable/clean is the code in TmpGOperations?
It forms a fairly central part of CoCoALib (and thus of CoCoA-5).
It would be nice to "promote" it to non-tmp status.

I had to look in to TmpGoperations.C to find out about how CoCoALib implements ideal homogenization (and saturation).
The code I saw looked mostly OK (with some commented out cruft).

It might be a major undertaking to clean & tidy all the code in one go.
Would it make sense to split the file into two parts: one with prefix Tmp and one without the prefix?
Perhaps that is just an unnecessary complication?
