Third Announcement

I.

Just a reminder to all that the scientific programme of the conference begins on Tuesday, June 3 and finishes Friday afternoon, June 6.
We have also scheduled a special banquet for Thursday evening.

II.

Below is the first draft of the scientific part of the meeting. We've not yet scheduled the exact times, but the idea is that:
  • General Lectures will have a length of roughly 40 minutes;
  • Short Communications approximately 20 minutes;
  • Demos approximately 40 minutes.
    • With those numbers as a guide we have in mind the following schedule:
    TUESDAYMorning: General Lectures by Decker and Struppa
    Afternoon: General Lecture by Robbiano
    Short Communications by Riccomagno and Möller
    Demo by Noro
    WEDNESDAYMorning: General Lectures by Roy and Watt
    Afternoon: Short Communications by Amasaki, Chyzak, CoCoA Team
    Demo by Carette
    THURSDAYMorning: General Lectures by Sturmfels and Buchberger
    Afternoon: Short Communications by Abbott, Delliere, Kreuzer (+ Short Demo)
    Demo by Greuel
    FRIDAYMorning: General Lectures by Recio and Bayer
    Afternoon: Short Communications by Martin-Siebert, Aubry-Maza, Ufnarovski
    Demo by Stillman
