QQEmbeddingHom    --    returns the homomorphism QQ --> R


Syntax
QQEmbeddingHom(R: RING): RINGHOM

Description
This function returns the homomorphism QQ --> R. This is useful for changing the ring of coefficients.

NOTE: this is a partial homomorphism when R has finite characteristic.
